Munson Prime is serving farm – ranch meals from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through
Friday’s at their location at 426 Goldenbelt Boulevard in Junction City.
This is phase one of the opening for the new establishment.
The next stage will involve the opening of the steakhouse portion of the operation Saturday night, Sept. 20.
The building, which formerly housed a Sirloin Stockade restaurant, was completely redone for this new establishment, explained Deanna Munson. “Oh, totally different, totally new. We ended up gutting it, and everything in it was totally remodeled. It has an ambiance that is what I call a western with class. And it is lots of dark browns, lots of wood, lots of stone.” Munson said the reaction for those who have visited Munson Prime is “awestruck, literally. They walk in and they say I can’t believe this.”
The farm-ranch meals are the same as those served daily to the workers at Munson Angus Farms west of Junction City.
The steakhouse will serve family style meals, and you can make reservations for opening night September 20th.
The business also includes an ice cream store, with drive through, and a retail meat store.
