The Geary County Sheriff’s Department has reported that two people were transported to Irwin Army Hospital at Fort Riley following a two-vehicle accident on U. S. Highway 77 Thursday evening.

Jacki R. Rayburn of Milford and Adam Culver of Junction City were taken to the hospital.

Rayburn was traveling northbound on U.S. 77 in a Chrysler Town and Country, slowing down to make a left hand turn onto 12th Street. Adam Culver was traveling northbound in a Toyota Tacoma when his vehicle hit the Town and Country in the rear.

The accident was reported just after 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
