The Junction City Lady Jay tennis team finished fourth out of four teams in a quadrangular at the
JCHS tennis courts on Thursday.
Lady Jay coach Tim Hickert said in one singles competition Kira Ford went 1-2 on the day. In one doubles the duo of Ally McKenzie and Alyson Burleigh went 1-2, including a win over a doubles team from Manhattan.
Nea Misa was 1-2 in two singles play, and the two doubles team of Mercedes Stunkel and Ana Perez finished 0-3.
In the team competition Lawrence Free State captured first place with nine wins. Manhattan was second with eight, Salina South four, and Junction City three.
