This summers final open house at the Spring Valley Historic Site is Saturday.

The open house will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with performances from the Commanding Generals Mounted Color Guard. They will also have a Civil War encampment set up at the historic site as well.

The event is free and open to the public. The historic site is located at the corner of K-18 and Spring Valley Road. The Geary County Historical Society will have souvenirs for sale as well.
