There are some new additions coming to the command group at Fort Riley.

 

Major General Paul Funk said Brigadier General Eric Wesley will replace Brigadier General Frank Muth, who has just departed the post.

Funk said Wesley has served at Fort Riley in the past, noting he commanded the Second Brigade and a Battalion at the post.

“Coming up very soon Brigadier General Sean Swindell will leave. Brigadier General Eric Carilla and his family have just moved into town. Eric will be the Deputy Commanding General for Maneuver.”

Funk also confirmed that longtime Deputy Garrison Commander, Linda Hoefner, is retiring near the end of September. She will be succeeded by Tim Livsey, who in the past has overseen the training department for the Garrison.
