The property tax levy in Grandview Plaza will be going down in 2015.

The Grandview Plaza City Council has approved the City’s 2015 budget with a mill levy of 45.673, down from 48.314 mills in 2014.

City Council member Honey Grant said the City has done a great job of sticking to their budgets. “It’s important that we hear from the citizens and we listen, and we still maintain that if we watch what we’re doing and we budget accordingly and stick to our budget, we come ahead that way.”

Grant noted the majority of the spending plan focuses on improving the City’s infrastructure.
