In fact at the sheriffs department there were even reductions in this years budget.

Sheriff Tony Wolf tells JCPost.com they have reduced the current budget for the department by $267,875 dollars.

“I reduced money out of the commodities, these are the things we buy and purchase throughout the day or week,” said Wolf.

Commodities include office supplies such as paper and pens.

“I took money out of wages, I reduced some personnel around here. I have not laid anyone off, what I have done is I had some vacancies and I just held those vacancies open,” said Wolf.

As far as the 2015 proposed budget is concerned Wolf says he has reduced his proposed spending plan right at $200,000. Spending has been reduced again and some vacant positions are being kept open.

Wolf made it clear there are no reductions or effect on patrol or security.
