The Sunflower Showdown men’s basketball matchup between Kansas and Kansas State at Bramlage Coliseum will air nationally on February 23 at 8 p.m. CT on ESPN.   It will mark the ninth consecutive season that the contest will air to a national audience, including the fifth year in a row on Big Monday.

On Big Monday in 2014 Kansas State defeated the No. 7 ranked Jayhawks 85-82, in overtime  behind 20 points from freshman Marcus Foster.

The Sunflower Showdown is one of nine Big 12 games scheduled to air on the league’s signature telecast, which begins Monday, January 5 when Texas hosts Oklahoma at 8 p.m. CT.

Other Big Monday games for the Big 12 include Oklahoma at Kansas Jan. 19, Texas at Iowa State Jan. 26, Iowa State at Kansas Feb. 2, Iowa State at Oklahoma Feb. 9, Kansas at West Virginia Feb. 16, and Baylor at Texas or Oklahoma at Iowa State on Mar. 2.
