Kansas State senior quarterback Jake Waters has been named to the watch list for the 2014 Davey O’Brien Award.  It is presented annually to the nation’s best quarterback.

The announcement was made by the Davey O’Brien Foundation.

Waters was one of 39 players nationally to be named a candidate for the honor. He threw for 2,469 yards with 18 touchdowns for Kansas State last season.
