The Junction City Blues opened American Legion zone tournament play with an 11-2 win over Rock Creek on Monday evening in Marysville. In the other first round game Manhattan Manko defeated Marysille 7-3.

Junction City will play Manhattan Tuesday evening in the second round of the double elimination tournament. The loser of that game will play the winner of Marysville and Rock Creek on Wednesday.
