MARION, Kan- Two men were injured in crash involving a dump truck on Tuesday in Marion County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1996 International dump truck driven by Evan L. Stout, 63, Marion, was west bound on Kansas 256 two miles east of Marion. The truck slowed to turn and was rear-ended by a 2000 Ford passenger vehicle driven by Thomas L. Schrag, 52, Marion.  The truck entered the ditch and struck a fence post.

Stout was transported to St. Luke’s in Marion. Schrag was transported to St. Francis in Wichita.

The KHP reported both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident
