The 35th Annual Telly Awards have been released and the Junction City Geary County Convention and Visitors Bureau has been named a Bronze Award winner for there piece titled “The Kansas Central Flint Hills Region-A Musical Tour.”
“We went up against nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and
numerous countries. All I can say is it’s truly an honor for Geary County CVB and also a very positive image builder out there for the world to see,” said Connie Hall, CVB Director.
This makes the fourth time the CVB has been awarded a Bronze Award, they were also previously awarded a Silver Award which is presented to approximately 10 percent of the entries.
“Winners of course they represent the best work they put together with the respective advertisement agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, corporate and video departments all over the world.”
The CVB is the destination marketing organization for Junction City and Geary County and is a division of the Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce. Founded in 1978, the mission is to increase visitation to the region and grow the economic revenue in Junction City and Geary County.
