More than 1,800 customers ( sites ) in Junction City were left without electricity for a short time on a windy Saturday, beginning about 1:15 p.m.

A check with Westar Energy revealed most of the service had been turned back on by about 2 p.m.

Westar reported that trees had gotten into a main power line on 12th Street.
