Geary and Riley County rural firefighters responded to a barn fire on Boller Road at the Phil Boller farm residence Wednesday morning.

There were no injuries.

The Assistant Rural Fire Chief in Geary County Kurt Janke confirmed a barn about half full of big round hay bales,  and a tractor was destroyed in the blaze.

The cause of the fire at the site in Riley County is not yet known.

Firefighters got the call to respond between 5 and 5:30 Wednesday morning.
