The National Weather Service out of Topeka has issued an urban and small stream flood advisory for southern Geary County, east central Dickinson County, northern Morris County, and southwestern Wabaunsee county.

The Advisory is in effect until 7:45 p.m..

Geary County Emergency Management had zero reports of flooding with in the county at approximately 5:30 p.m..

According to the NWS out of Topeka at 4:39 p.m. spotters reported that heavy rain of 2 to 3 inches had fallen over the area, and some low water crossings have water over them.

Additional rainfall amounts of up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area.

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely. Move to higher ground.
