Thunderstorms have rolled through the region on Thursday morning.
The National Weather Service has said there are reports of substantial tree damage in Morris County.
In Junction City the Activities Director for the Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce John Terry reported a tree was down on the westbound lanes of Sixth Street in front of the Chamber, and was blocking traffic.
There was a lightning strike at 1906 McFarland Road in Junction City at the Larry Ruiz family residence. There were no injuries. Fire Department Battalion Chief Rick Rook estimated the damage would total less than $1,000.
