VERMILLION, Kan. -A Kansas woman was injured in a Sunday evening accident in Marshall County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1994 Mazda pickup driven by Jennifer Ann Taylor, 36, Vermillion, was west bound on K-9 two miles west of Vermillion.

The vehicle left the north shoulder of the road and the driver overcorrected causing the vehicle to go left of center. The vehicle entered the south ditch where it struck an embankment causing it to overturn.

Taylor was transported to the Marysville Hospital.
The KHP reported she was properly restrained at the time of the accident.
