The Geary County Sheriff’s Office is reporting both a single vehicle injury accident, and a single vehicle non-injury accident with a deer Thursday night into Friday morning.

According to the SO morning Report deputies responded to the 9500 Block of Quarry Road Thursday night at approximately 7:38 p.m. for  the report of a single vehicle injury accident. A juvenile was traveling southbound on Quarry Road while operating a 2009 Toyota Carolla. The Juvenile lost control of the vehicle and struck a guardrail. The juvenile was transported by Lifestar for treatment.

Deputies also responded to a non-injury accident with a deer just before 6:00 a.m. Friday.

Patrick Rowland, of Herington, was operating a 2014 Ford Mustang GT northbound on Old Highway 77 when a deer ran in front of the vehicle. There were no injuries reported.
