Geary Community Hospital Diabetes Education Services, provided by Laurel Peterson, RN,

Certified Diabetes Educator, have been integrated into the Rural Health Clinic effective Monday, May 19.
“Laurel’s move gives us a more complete patient centered team, ” stated Mary Austin, Director of Practice Management. “It gives our primary care providers and nurses better access to Laurel’s education services.” Peterson had previously offered diabetic education from the third floor of the central tower at GCH.
Appointments with Peterson can be made by calling 785-762-2585. She is now located in the Rural Health Clinic offices on the fourth floor of the Medical Arts II building.
