Project Graduation was held overnight at Junction City High School.

That is the annual party for graduating seniors at JCHS that is held after Commencement.

Coordinator Dana Weigand said 148 students attended, and 100 stayed all night until the event ended, which was about 3:30 a.m.

Prizes with a total combined value of $2, 800 were given to the students. Weigand said, “We did gift cards again this year. So every student in attendance received a gift card. We also had some Blue Jay memorabilia where they were able to choose from some things….t-shirts, senior pictures, sunglasses, so everybody walked away with something.”

Activities for the students ranged from volleyball to board games.
