The Geary County Veteran’s Aliance has released the program for their Memorial Day ceremony at the C. L. Hoover Opera House.

Colonel ( Ret. ) Bill Clark will serve as the keynote speaker for the ceremony, which will begin at 10 a.m. on Memorial Day ( May 26 ).

Clark served in the U.S. Army for 30 years, most recently as Garrison Commander at Fort Riley. He is currently the Director of Business Operations for USD 475, and is also serving as the Flint Hills Regional Council Executive Director.

Also during the Memorial Day ceremony there will be a wreath laying, a 21-gun salute, and musical presentation by the Junction City Community Band.

Larry Hicks, Geary County Commission Chairman, will serve as the master of ceremonies.
