Lisa Eickholt, Geary County HR Director updated the County Commission Monday on the pay study currently being conducted.
It is being validated at this particular time by our consultants and some initial results are anticipated to be brought in front of the the Commission in the course of the coming weeks ahead,” said Larry Hicks, Geary County Commission Chair.
The study will show if county employees are competitive in salary and pay-scale rates compared to other counties of similar size within the State.
“It will also indicate to the general public that Geary County is very interested and concerned, and committed to providing the best in competitive salaries to those who want to come and be a part of this Government,” Hicks said.
A final date has yet to be set for when the results will be available.
