Thunderstorm Rumbles Through Junction City

The National Weather Service put southwestern Geary County, northwestern Morris, and Dickinson County under a severe thunderstorm warning Sunday evening for about 45 minutes.

Major lightning accompanied the thunderstorm as it moved through Junction City, but no problems were reported with hail. The storm appeared to decrease in intensity as it reached Junction City.
