Washburn Rural swept Junction City in softball Tuesday in Topeka.

According to Coach Nancy Detmer of Junction City, Washburn Rural won the first game 13-0 in five innings, and the second contest 7-0.

The Lady Jays are now 3-11 on the season. They host Shawnee Heights on Friday.
