St. Xavier High School students who participated in activities throughout this school year were recognized during the high school’s annual Activities Banquet Friday night.

During the banquet the sports teams presented their annual awards. Those awards were presented as followed:

Volleyball

• MVP- Leslie Reese
• Most Inspirational- Meghan Fernandez

Girls Basketball

• Most Outstanding Athlete Overall- Kim Keating
• MVP- Leslie Reese
• Defensive Player- Miranda Powers
• Best Shot- Krystina Sunley
• Most Inspirational- Gretchen Martinez

Boys Basketball

• Most Inspirational Player-The entire team
• Most Improved Player- Alex Daniels and Andrew Schwanke
• Defensive Player- Keon Jackson
• Offensive Player- Tyler Tanguay
• MVP- Tony Reese

Track

• MVP- Kim Keating
• Most Inspirational- Joseph Balderrama

Each year the school recognizes two seniors with the KSHSAA Citizenship Award. This years recipients were Kim Keating and Keon Jackson.

Other activities recognized during the banquet included the cheer team, scholars bowl, forensics, FBLA, StuCo Officers, and State Science Fair.
