USD 475 has announced that a Celebration of Life for Lorraine Walker will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at the Junction City Middle School. Cremation will take place following the service.  Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, May 2, at Penwell-Gable Mass-Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline Avenue in Junction City.

A time of remembrance has planned for Lorraine Walker Sunday, April 27, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Washington Elementary School cafeteria.

Lorraine Walker, Washington Elementary School principal,  died Friday, April 25.  She had served as the principal at Washington Elementary School since 1988.
