Westar Energy has reported power outages in both Geary and Riley Counties following the heavy rain Sunday morning. As of 10:15 a.m. Sunday there were 1,353 customers without electricity in Geary County, and 1,204 in Riley County. In addition 12 power outages were reported in Pottawatomie County and 2 in Dickinson County. In Geary County outages are on the west side of Junction City. Westar estimated electricity would be restored there by 11:30  a.m. In Riley County the estimate is for service to be restored by 12:30 p.m.
