The thunderstorm activity Sunday morning resulted in power outages in Geary and Riley County. Westar Energy reported up to 1,353 outages in Geary and 1,204 in Riley County.

A check at mid-afternoon revealed the number in Geary County had been reduced to 14 outages and all Westar Electrical Service had been restored in Riley County.
