The Geary County Sheriff’s Department responded Friday evening to the 7900 block of East Lyons Creek Rd. for a single motorcycle accident.  Maria Estermara of Junction City was westbound on Lyons Creek Rd. on a Kawasaki 300, when she lost control of her motorcycle and crashed into the south ditch. Estermara was transported to Geary Community Hospital with possible injuries.

The Sheriff’s Department responded to K-57 Highway for a single vehicle accident. Jaylen D. Mason of Junction City was turning around in the entrance to Bayer Construction in a Chevrolet Impala when he ran into a concrete pole.   Mason removed the vehicle to K-57 and parked on the side of the roadway.  No injuries were reported.
