A special program, “Interpetations and Imagery: Commemorating the Holocaust through Memorials and Museums,” will be presented at the Eisenhower Presidential Library, Museum and Boyhood Home by Dr. Mike Russell.  The public is invited to the free program scheduled for Thursday ( April 24 ) at 7 p.m. in the Library Auditorium.

Russell will give a tour by way of a visual presentation of the major Nazi death camps in Poland, various Holocaust memorials and museums throughout the world. In so doing, he will discuss ways that the Holocaust is visually memorialized today. A question and answer period will follow the presentation.

Russell is an Associate Professor of History at Kansas Wesleyan University and is the coordinator of the annual KWU Department of History.
