A Silver Alert has been issued for a rural Franklin County man last seen Wednesday afternoon.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation described Donald Eugene Cook, 75, as 6 feet tall and 131 pounds, with brown eyes, gray hair and glasses. He recently was diagnosed with a terminal illness.

He was last seen by his spouse wearing gray, baggy sweatpants, black tennis shoes, and possibly a T-shirt, unknown color. Donald was also wearing a black coat with pictures of horses on the back. The coat has the name “DON” on the front and “Cook’s Ranch” on the back. Cook could also be wearing a hat with KU or OU on the front.

He was last seen driving a silver 2007 Toyota Corolla, 4-door, Kansas tag is 068ACD. The car has a dealership vanity plate on the front possibly displaying Olathe Toyota. Salina is listed among his possible destinations.
