Clay Center took advantage of some infield errors by the Junction City Lady Jays to score four runs in the second inning of game one of a doubleheader at Rathert Field, and then held off Junction City for a 6-5 softball win at Cleary Field.

In the second game the Tigers scored six runs in the first inning and went on to a 12-1 five inning victory over the Lady Jays.

Clay Center improved to 5-1 on the season, while Junction City fell to 0-4.
