The State of the City address will be done in a bit of a different format this year in Junction City.

City Manager Gerald Smith will present his remarks at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the C.L. Hoover Opera House. But his main speech will be on video. He has prerecorded it.  We’ll provide the opportunity for people to sit and watch it.  It will provide a series of slides of materials related to the city’s finances.  That’s the extent of it.”

Following the presentation by Smith members of the City Commission will be able to make their comments, but there will not be any question and answer session for the public.  The public, of course, can attend and listen to the State of the City address.
