Two Junction City residents were arrested Friday morning following the execution of a search warrant at 512 S. Franklin St. Apt. C in Junction City.

Authorities reported that Marcel McGill, 38,  and Cody T. Dodge, 25 were both arrested on suspicion of Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to District, No Kansas Drug Tax Stamp, Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Both men were confined at the Geary County Detention Center pending first appearances in Geary County District Court.

The Junction City / Geary County Drug Operations Group assisted by Junction City / Geary County SWAT executed the search warrant at the 512 S. Franklin St. Apt. C address. It was obtained after a month long investigation by the Drug Operations Group into suspected drug activity at the residence.

The Drug Operations Group seized methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

The Drug Operations group is a joint task force composed of members of the Junction City Police Department, Geary County Sheriff’s Department, and Grandview Plaza Police Department.
