For the next two weeks Jerry Hinson, CEO of Opportunity Funding LLC and RDA, will be in Junction City conducting over fifty interviews as a part of the feasibility study for a local capital campaign.

The Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce hired Hinson to conduct the study.

Susan Jagerson, EDC Specialist with the Chamber, explained that the purpose of the study is to determine the public’s views and strategies on how the EDC should move forward concerning future economic growth.

“Once the strategies are developed and we figure out what’s important, then of course there’s going to need to be resources that need to be put into these strategies,” Jagerson said.”The goal of the capital campaign is to raise private funding to help fund those strategies.”

Following the interview process Hinson expects it to take an additional 45 days before presenting the results to the Chamber.
