During a motions hearing Tuesday in Riley County District Court Christina Love, 49, of Manhattan waived her right to a speedy trial.
Love was arrested in September of last year in connection to the death of John Burroughs, 68, Manhattan, and formerly of Junction City.

She appeared in court Tuesday alongside her Attorney, Jason Hoffman, who requested more time in the case. Hoffman cited that he needed more time to go over recently discovered material.
The request was accepted by Chief Judge Meryl Wilson who then set a pre-trial conference status hearing for May 5th at 3:30 p.m..
Love’s trial has been scheduled for the week of June 2nd.
Burroughs was found dead inside his home at the Redbud Estates trailer park in Manhattan on September 8th, 2013, after police were alerted by work colleagues that he was missing from his job.
In January Love pleaded not guilty to aiding and abetting the first-degree murder of Burroughs.
Prosecutors allege the pair helped Anthony Nichols, 33, of Kansas City, Kan., kill Burroughs last September at his home.
Nichols was also arrested in Junction City on first degree murder and aggravated robbery charges in connection to the fatal shooting of Anthony Nixon, 37, of Junction City in the early morning hours of September 7th, 2013.
