Junction City police dispatch confirmed early Monday afternoon that firefighters have responded to a large grass fire in the Erickson Road area south of Junction City.

No injuries have been reported.

Dispatch confirmed that in addition to Geary County rural firefighters, extra help is being called in to assist in battling that blaze.
