The improvement project to the Martha K Hoover Women’s Center is underway at Geary Community Hospital.

Joe Stratton, GCH CEO, updated the board of trustees on the project Tuesday.

“They’re doing a lot of floor covering and wallpaper. They’re making a work station for the Physicians so they have more privacy when they’re doing documentation of cases,” Stratton said.

The Geary Community Healthcare Foundation presented the hospital with a $115,555 check for the project last month.

Work is expected to be completed by the end of the summer.
