The Riley County Police Department and the Kansas Highway Patrol responded to a two vehicle injury accident at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, March 24. 
The accident was on U-77 at milepost 191.6, just south of Randolph in Riley County, Kansas.
Bradi Jensen, age 21 of Wamego, was driving a 2002 Honda northbound on U-77 when she lost control of her vehicle due to hazardous road conditions caused by winter weather. The Honda spun out of control and hit a 1996 Subaru driven by Calvin Shaneyfelt, age 24 of Albuquerque, New Mexico, who was going southbound on U-77.
Both drivers were injured in the accident and taken to Mercy Hospital in Manhattan. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported that both were wearing their safety restraints at the time of collision.
