NORMAN, Okla. (AP) – A four run third inning and strong pitching led Kansas State to a 5-0 win over Oklahoma in college baseball in Norman.
The win prevented OU from sweeping the three-game weekend series.
K-State’s Nate Griep threw a complete game, three-hit shutout to improve to 2-0 on the season. Jake Elliott took the loss for OU and falls to 2-3.
The Sooners are now 18-7 overall and 2-1 in the Big 12 while Kansas State is 14-9 and 1-2.
