Fundraising is under way to support the after prom party at White City High School on April 26.

Coordinator for the fundraising effort Terra Egger  said the party runs during the overnight – early morning hours. Hyptonist Brad Clark will perform a show during the party at White City High School, then the students will go to Junction City to go bowling, and cyber bowling. Then they will return to the High School where the students will be able to enjoy prizes. The fundraising and collections of donations is to support the acquisition of the prizes.

Donations can be a variety of things. “We’ve received t-shirts from colleges and gift certificates from different businesses. We’ve received money donations.”  The donations can be made to the White City After Prom Party, and can be mailed to Terra Egger at 114 Green Acres in White City, 66872.  Approximately 50 students are expected to participate in the After Prom Party.

Egger noted the party gives the students another option after prom, and an opportunity to make safe choices.
