The Junction City Police Department is asking for help from the public in identifying a suspect in a theft at the Casey’s General Store at 614 South Washington In Junction City on Saturday, March 15th.

Tim Brown, Chief of Police, explained that the suspect entered the store around 5:00 a.m.,”While the clerk was distracted reached behind the counter, grabbed some lottery tickets and also picked up some DVD’s and fled the store, the DVD’s were recovered outside of the store.”

Brown said that they believe the suspect lives in the area around Casey’s. The suspect got away with under $100 worth of merchandise.
