A motorcycle accident in Junction City Saturday night at Grant Avenue and Franklin Street claimed the life of one man, identified by the Junction City Police Department as Bobby Beatty, 35, Junction City.

Police confirmed Beatty was taken from the accident scene to Geary Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

There were no other vehicles involved in the accident, which was reported at 10:30 Saturday night.

The accident is under investigation.
