Honesty, integrity and good communication skills are all qualities that the public would like to see in the next Superintendent of schools at Geary USD 475.
The public was able to share the qualities that they would like to see in the next superintendent during a focus

“They want an educational leader who cares about kids, who’s knowledgable about school finance, who’s knowledgable about instruction, who is a person who has integrity and honesty. A good communicator and a person who is commited to visability both in the school’s and in the communities, both in town and on Fort Riley,” explained Max Heim, a former USD 475 Superintendent and now a representative of KASB.
All of the qualitites developed Wednesday will be presented to the Geary USD 475 Board of Education and will also be used by the KASB when they begin screening applicants on March 24th.
