Early Morning Search Warrant Leads to Four Arrests in Junction City

Four Junction City residents were arrested after a search warrant at 124 S. Adams St, in Junction City early Tuesday morning.

The search warrant was executed by the Junction City-Geary County Drug jcpd threeOperations Group, assisted by local uniformed law enforcement officers. The warrant was obtained after an investigation by the Drug Operations Group into suspected methamphetamine distribution at the residence.

Arrested were the following:

-Currin Ayer, 26, of Junction City on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute within 1000′ of a school, and felony possession of drug paraphernalia. Ayer was also arrested on warrants from Riley County for possession of hallucinogenic and endangering a child.

– Jennifer Holter, 33, of Junction City on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute within 1000′ of a school, criminal possession of a firearm, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and possession of a hallucinogenic.

-Wilfried Meyer, 47, of Junction City on suspicion of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

-Michael Meyer, 25, of Junction City on suspicion of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

All four were confined in the Geary County Detention Center pending first appearances in Geary County District Court, scheduled for Wednesday.

The Drug Operations Group seized methamphetamine, marijuana, hallucinogenic mushrooms, drug paraphernalia, three handguns, and currency.

The Junction City-Geary County Drug Operations Group is a joint task force composed of members of the Junction City Police Department, Geary County Sheriff’s Department, and Grandview Plaza Police Department.
