Wildcats Defeat TCU

Junior Thomas Gipson registered his seventh career double-double with a team high 16 points and season tying 11 rebounds to help Kansas State to a 65-53 victory over TCU at Bramlage Coliseum on Wednesday night.basketball clip art two

The win was the 14th consecutive home court victory for the Wildcats ( 18-8, 8-5 Big 12 ) .

According to k-statesports.com Gipson was one of four Wildcats in double figures, as he was joined in by freshman Marcus Foster with 13 points, junior Nino Williams with 11, and senior Will Spradling with 10 points. The double-double was the seventh of Gipson’s career, including the third this season.

K-State plays at Oklahoma on Saturday at 3 p.m.  Those two teams along with Iowa State are currently in a three-way tie for third place in the league standings, one game behind second-place Texas.
