1st District Congressman Tim Huelskamp will be visiting Fort Riley on Tuesday from 1:30 until 2:30.

According to a release from Huelskamp’s staff the Congressman is scheduled to meet with Col. Barry Pockrandt, Commander of Irwin Army Community Hospital and representatives from the Department of Veterans Affairs and Medical Department Activity Transition Services.

During the visit the Congressman will receive an update about the new hospital under construction at Fort Riley, and learn more about how the Department of the Army is working with the VA to transition soldiers from active duty to civilian life.
