Road’s remain to be snow packed throughout the area. Junction City Dispatch has reported no major accidents as of 8:47 p.m. have been reported.

Manhattan Dispatch has confirmed similar road conditions throughout Riley County with several slide off’s reported but nothing major as of 8:45 p.m.

Both Geary County and Riley County offices have closed for Wednesday. Only essential personnel such as law enforcement and public works department employees are to report for work.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol website I-70 between Exit 313 and 286 is snowpacked with drifting snow. KHP also reports that U.S. 77 from Herington North to K-82 is snow packed with drifting snow.
