The Geary County Sheriff’s Department has reported the arrest of four people stemming from two stops on Interstate 70.

Deputies arrested Austin Sims of Belton, Mo. at Milepost 314, 16 miles east of Junction City on suspicion of Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell, No Drug Taxation Stamp, and Speeding. At the same time and location Grant A. White of Belton, Mo. was arrested on suspicion of No Drug Taxation Stamp and Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell. Those arrests were reported at 2:24 p.m. on Friday.

Later, Friday night at 10:19 p.m., the Sheriff’s Department reported the arrest of Richard A. Martin of Montgomery, Mn. at Milepost 305 on the interstate, seven miles east of Junction City. He was arrested on suspicion of Felony Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, No Proof of Insurance, and Defective Tail Light.  At the same time and location Deputies arrested Andrew John Maxa of Montgomery, Mn.  on suspicion of Possession of Marijuana, No Drug Tax Stamp, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Transporting an Open Container.
