The Geary County Clerk’s Office will offer additional time to register citizens to vote on Tuesday ( Jan. 7 ) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

That is the final day citizens may register prior to the City of Grandview Plaza Special election on Jan. 28. Residents should re-register if they have moved or changed their names.

Advanced voting will begin on Jan. 8. The last day a voter may request a ballot to be mailed is Friday, Jan. 24. Advanced voting in person ends at noon on Monday, Jan. 27.
